Drawer Requirements
The foam insert included with this kit measures 31-7/16 X 20-7/16 inches.
It is not possible to compress the foam because the tool pockets will also squeeze closed. The foam sheet can be trimmed with a sharp knife if necessary. Contact customer service if you'd like us to modify the sheet size to your measurements.
The minimum recommended size for trimming is 30-11/16 X 20 inches. This leaves a margin of approximately 1/4-inch. Trimmed organizers are not returnable.
Designer Notes
"Our goal with this kit was to create an organizer for the three most popular Tekton mechanic sets. We used the 55-piece set of 1/4-drive sockets, the 74-piece set of 3/8-drive sockets, and the 84-piece set of 1/2-drive sockets. All three sets feature 6-point sockets and a good selection of drive tools. The organizer was sized for the older Tekton 36-inch toolboxes."
How Kits are Packaged and Shipped
After test fitting each kit, we remove the tools and seal them in a heavy-duty bag for shipping. We include a drawing to help place each tool back in the foam. Some kits with Tekton sockets ship in the original Tekton case.
